Accounts Payable Representative (Contract to Hire)
Summary
The Accounts Payable Representative will be responsible for coding and data entry of accounts payable invoices and resolving vendor questions. This position will report to the AP Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Review and process Account Payable invoices accurately and timely.
- Communicate with vendors and internal business partners in a professional manner.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

- Proficient in data entry with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proactively address issues and drill down to the root cause as areas of non-quality are identified.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Oil & Gas Accounting experience with an emphasis in Accounts Payable.
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with timely and accurate processing of high volumes of invoices by stated deadlines and a high sense of urgency.
- Demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounting tasks and reconciliation activities.
- Proficient in data entry with a strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel (with advanced proficiency in V-looks and other functions, Outlook, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with Open Invoice strongly preferred.
