Surge Energy America Gives Back to Permian Basin

July 18, 2022 — Surge Energy US Holdings Company (“Surge Energy” or the “Company”) company announced investments in philanthropic initiatives in the Texas Permian Basin. In the second quarter, the company supported various charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society-Midland, the Big Spring Rodeo, and Basin Burnout, a Permian Basin-based veteran’s organization.

“We are proud to support these organizations that provide so much for our Texas communities,” said CEO of Surge Energy America, Linhua Guan. “Our team is committed to making a positive impact in where we live and work.”

Surge Energy was the primary sponsor of the Big Spring Rodeo, a West Texas event that attracts thousands of visitors each year, some as far away as Virginia. Over the past 88 years, the Big Spring Rodeo has brought more than $100,000 annually to Big Springs, Texas – a town of less than 30,000.

In addition to sponsoring the rodeo and their monetary donations, the organization has collected and donated essential supplies to Camp Hope, Star of Hope, and the Salvation Army of Big Spring.
