Ms. Schwertner joined Surge in May 2015 as a Senior Accountant and assumed her current role as Senior Executive Advisor in July 2017. Prior to joining Surge, Ms. Schwertner worked for Midstates Petroleum Company from 2010 to 2015 as Supervisor of Corporate Accounting. Prior to Midstates, Ms. Schwertner worked at ConocoPhillips from 2002 to 2010 in various finance & reporting roles. She also spent three years in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers and two years working at Dynegy within corporate financial reporting. Ms. Schwertner earned her BBA in Accounting & Finance from Texas A&M University.
