Mr. Kelso has expansive experience in global leadership roles in oil and gas drilling, completions, operations and asset management on many international and domestic onshore and offshore projects. Prior to November 2019, Mr. Kelso was president of his own oil and gas company, LH1 Energy. Mr. Kelso enjoyed a 37 year career with Amoco, BP and Hess previous to LH1 Energy. Mr. Kelso held positions his last five years at Hess directing unconventional activities worldwide. Mr. Kelso is from East Texas and is passionate about the oil and gas business. He is a member of SPE, Rice Business Roundtable, Rice Angel Network, IPAA, ADAM, HEFG, Jones Partners and CEO Netweavers. Mr. Kelso received his BS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas Tech University and his Executive MBA from Rice University.
