Surge has a track record of consistent growth since our founding in 2015. We currently operate two oil fields in the Permian Basin: Moss Creek and Hoople

Exploration and Production

Moss Creek

Unconventional shale development located in Northern Midland Basin in Howard and Borden Counties with active horizontal development in multiple benches and a contiguous acreage footprint.

Hoople

Vertical well waterflood asset in the Northern Permian Basin in Crosby County

Dawson Creek

Company acquired a substantial acreage position in Dawson and Gaines Counties in the northern Midland Basin that included several existing wellbores. The Company plans to test opportunities for oil well commerciality in 2023.

Water Infrastructure

Surge is a leader in the industry of produced water management.  Surge has been utilizing recycled produced water for fracking operations since 2017.  Surge commissioned its fourth recycle facility in July 2022 that supports the eastern acreage and allows Surge to utilize recycled produced water in 100% of completions going forward.
